We develop many of the components for our products ourselves, but we particularly value partnerships with passionate developers. ALLYGN and Gramm are outstanding examples of bespoke and sophisticated solutions. They are true experts in their field and have perfected what they develop.
Gravel setup par excellence
To take our Wilhelm gravel setup to the highest level – not just visually but also functionally – we opted for ALLYGN components and Gramm accessories.
When selecting the right carbon fork, the M.U.D. Fork ticked all the boxes we were looking for. Developed as the ‘Swiss Army knife’ of carbon forks, it took four years of development to finalise. This suggests a willingness to make few compromises and fits perfectly with the Schindelhauer philosophy: we don’t stop until the product is exactly where we want it to be. The flat-mount fork offers all the mounting points a gravel bike needs: for Anything-Cages, a light mount and a clean, integrated mudguard mounting system. In addition to internal routing of the brake line and light cable, it boasts generous tyre clearance of up to 47 mm with 622 wheels and 54 mm with 584 wheels.
The Grill Rack is the off-road solution for carrying luggage. The front rack is very compact yet offers plenty of load capacity. It is made from high-quality, ultra-thin-walled 25CrMo4 tubing (0.8 mm) – making it very light and extremely robust.
Accessories - custom-tailored by Gramm
Gramm has been designing, developing and manufacturing bikepacking bags and touring equipment at its workshop in Berlin-Lichtenberg since 2013. The bags are made to fit ALLYGN components. The Grill Bag features the innovative ‘Origami’ folding lid and is easily secured using FidLock hardware. It is weather-resistant and has two internal mesh pockets. This bag, just like the other components, can be ordered for Wilhelm Gravel.
